Overview

PATH is committed to providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment for children and adolescents. We have a wide range of of qualified and certified staff from Licensed Psychologist to Qualified Mental Health professionals with an extensive background and knowledge in the fields of Human Services with 20 plus years of combined experience.
Services include individual and family counseling and therapy to treat a full range of mental health issues including ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, disruptive behaviors, school related issues, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders.
Our programs have a "non discriminatory" policy, offering services to every person in need. Bi-lingual services are offered to Spanish speaking candidates as well.

Youth Eligibility Overview
​
The admissions criteria for the referred individual are as follows:

Individual must be within the ages 5 through 18 at time of referral;

Individual must demonstrate a clinical necessity arising from a severe condition due to mental, behavioral, or emotional illness that results in significant functional impairments in major life activities.
Clients must be identified with a diagnosis, which includes but not limited to:

Emotionally or learning disabled
-
Oppositional defiant disorder
-
Anxiety or depression
-
Attention deficit disorder
-
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder

Disruptive behavior
-
Conduct disorder
-
Attachment disorder
-
Bipolar disorder
-
Schizophrenia
-
Postpartum disorder
Individuals must meet at least two of the following criteria on a continuing or intermittent basis:

Have difficulty in establishing or maintaining normal interpersonal relationships to such a degree that they are at-risk of hospitalization or out-of-home placement because of conflicts with family or community.

Exhibit such inappropriate behavior that repeated interventions by the mental health, social services, or judicial system are necessary.

Exhibit difficulty in cognitive ability such that they are unable to recognize personal danger or recognize significantly inappropriate social behavior causing serious harm to themselves or others.
